Summary

The Pricing Analyst develops and executes pricing strategy for educational products, including pricing setup, competitive analysis, and RFP preparation while collaborating across Sales, Finance, Technology, and Marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities: Create custom proposals for Regional Sales Managers, develop and revise pricing for new and existing product lines, conduct competitive research and cost analysis, and support data integrity initiatives.
Skills & Tools: Strong Excel proficiency with MSSQL capability, detail-oriented with big-picture thinking, excellent communication and customer service skills, and comfortable working with data and tight timelines.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related quantitative field with demonstrated business acumen and commitment to accuracy.
Location: Hybrid in New Rochelle, United States (3 days per week on-site)
Compensation: $55,000 – $70,000/year

Job Description

*This position is on our hybrid schedule, 3x a week in our New Rochelle office.

Position Purpose: The Pricing Analyst will focus on development and execution of the pricing strategy, including pricing and assembly of new and existing products, evaluation of potential deals, preparation of RFP materials and market analyses. The role works closely with a number of teams within the organization, Sales, Finance, Technology and Marketing. Success in this position requires detail-oriented thinking, a bias towards action and execution, comfort with data and data ambiguity and ability to work under tight timelines. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:    

  • Create custom proposals for the Regional Sales Managers 
  • Develop, review, and revise pricing and assembly setup for new and existing product lines
  • Conduct competitive research and cost analysis for pricing development
  • Identify opportunities to help support and maintain data integrity
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities and initiatives

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Strong communication skills and ability to establish great rapport with various members of the team
  • High level of Excel proficiency and analysis and some MSSQL
  • Demonstrates commitment to detail and accuracy, while having the ability to understand the big picture and its impact
  • Customer service oriented
  • Strong business acumen    
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics or other quantitative field

Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000

*The base salary range represents the low and high end of the expected salary range for the position. The base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and skill level.
