Role Snapshot

Support early childhood education programs as a Family Advocate (Bilingual Spanish) by engaging families and promoting healthy child development and school readiness. Work with Head Start families to enhance parent-child interactions and build community partnerships.

Key Responsibilities: Engage families through in-home and group experiences, manage enrollment and attendance, assist with application completion, support health-related documentation, conduct outreach and recruitment activities, and establish community partnerships to strengthen program access.

Skills & Tools: Strong advocacy and engagement skills for diverse communities, knowledge of early childhood education principles, bilingual Spanish proficiency, data management and record-keeping abilities, and capacity to provide targeted support to vulnerable families.

Qualifications: Preferred Associate or Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields such as education, social work, or child development; experience with low-income communities and family advocacy is advantageous.

Location: North Brunswick, New Jersey

Compensation: $23/hr
