Role Snapshot

Lead comprehensive communication strategies for Western Governors University's academic leadership and EdTech initiatives, directing a team of communications managers to enhance internal and external messaging while supporting the Chief Academic Officer and Provost.

Skills & Tools: Excellent communication and project management abilities with expertise in academic communications, media relations, thought leadership development, and digital/visual content creation; proven ability to work at the intersection of academic and technology initiatives.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field with 12+ years of communications experience and at least 5 years in leadership roles; demonstrated experience in higher education and managing complex organizational communications.

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Compensation: $142K–$256K/yr
