Summary

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll focus on creating qualified sales leads to cultivate new business opportunities from prospects through self-sourced prospects, manage an assigned roster, and Marketing qualified leads within K12 and Career Technical Education programs.

WHERE YOU’LL WORK

This position will work remote in the United States. 

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Drive lead generation and client conversion by executing outbound calls and emails, handle inbound inquiries, and identify high-potential prospects through effective prospecting and qualification
  • Convert through qualification and needs validation to create SQLs for sales execution
  • Schedule and coordinate discovery meetings with aligned Sales team member(s) as applicable
  • Foster strong client relationships and create a positive brand image by collaborating with Marketing on campaigns, maintain accurate CRM records, and manage leads throughout the process
  • Support sales team success by participating in strategy meetings, staying informed on industry trends, understanding prospect challenges, and preparing sales plays and messaging for Call Calendar
  • Streamline top of the sales funnel to facilitate the success of Account Managers and Solutions Executives

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • 1+ years of prior sales related work experience
  • Passion for developing a career in sales
  • Goal-oriented team player
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Self-motivated, driven, and a commitment to personal and professional growth
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate product offerings and engage with clients
