Role Snapshot

Avela seeks a District Partnerships Manager to drive growth among public school districts across the U.S. by owning the full sales process from lead generation to deal closure. This role is ideal for education practitioners who understand district challenges and can build lasting relationships within the sector.

Key Responsibilities: Build and manage sales pipeline through outreach, field events, and direct prospecting while owning deals through the entire sales cycle. Coordinate internal teams for client handoffs, manage contract negotiations, and ensure smooth implementation transitions.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with deep understanding of the education system and district administration challenges. Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit, sales acumen, and passion for education equity with ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics.
Qualifications: 5+ years of professional experience with 3+ years in district administration roles (Superintendents, Board Members, or Executive Directors preferred). Must be based within 1 hour of San Francisco Bay Area or Greater Boston and possess competitive drive with commitment to social impact in education.
Location: United States
Compensation: $80K–$100K/yr
