Role Snapshot

Coursera seeks a Director of Global Compensation to lead the design and execution of comprehensive compensation programs across multiple regions while building and mentoring a high-performing team. This fully remote strategic role partners with senior leadership to ensure competitive, equitable pay structures aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute global compensation strategies, oversee compensation cycles and benchmarking, manage job architecture and pay structures, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive cross-functional partnerships with Finance, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders. Lead compensation analytics, decision frameworks, and govern programs across Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.
Skills & Tools: Expertise in global HR and Total Rewards, strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in compensation analytics tools (e.g., Workday), and demonstrated ability to design compensation programs in high-growth environments. Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills required.
Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in global compensation roles with proven leadership capabilities and experience in SaaS or technology sectors. Preferred experience includes involvement with Compensation Committees and demonstrated success managing compensation programs at scale.

Compensation: $169K–$214K/yr
