Summary

Senior Recruiter leading executive hiring efforts across Pathstream, owning full-cycle recruitment of VP-level and C-suite roles to shape the company's leadership team. This part-time contract role scales up to 40 hours per week as needed.

Key Responsibilities: Own full-cycle searches for executive and critical roles across departments including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations. Develop tailored search strategies, facilitate structured interviews, build candidate pipelines, and advise senior leadership on hiring decisions while embedding DEI best practices throughout the recruitment process.
Skills & Tools: Executive search expertise, strong business strategy understanding, passive and active sourcing techniques, competency-based interview design, relationship building with senior stakeholders and candidates, and commitment to diversity and inclusion practices.
Qualifications: Experience in executive search and recruiting senior-level talent with proven ability to work with C-suite and VP-level candidates. Demonstrated success as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and familiarity with full-cycle recruitment processes.
Location: Remote (US)
Compensation: $45 – $70/hourly (varies by tier: Tier 1 city $58-70/hour, Tier 2 city $50-62/hour, Tier 3 city $45-55/hour)

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Recruiter to lead and elevate our executive hiring efforts across Pathstream. In this role, you will own the recruitment of senior leaders and critical roles across departments, playing a key role in shaping the future of our team. You’ll bring experience in executive search, a strong understanding of business strategy, and the interpersonal skills needed to build trust with senior stakeholders and high-level candidates.

This is a part-time, contract role with flexibility to scale up to 40 hours per week as needed. The position reports to Chandi Harris, Sr. HR and People Operations Manager.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and lead full-cycle searches across Pathstream, including VP-level and C-suite roles across departments such as Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, aligning talent strategies with long-term organizational goals.
  • Develop tailored search strategies, leveraging both passive and active sourcing techniques to identify diverse, world-class executive talent.
  • Design and facilitate structured, competency-based interview processes, ensuring consistency, rigor, and a world-class candidate experience.
  • Build, manage, and continuously refresh a strong pipeline, including proactive relationship building with future candidates.
  • Advise hiring teams on hiring decisions, from assessments and reference checks to final negotiations.
  • Drive diversity by embedding DEI best practices into every stage of the search and selection process.
  • Represent Pathstream with professionalism and discretion in recruiting engagements.
  • Assist in developing and enhancing best practices in the overall Pathstream recruitment process through strategic thinking and excellent documentation.
  • Contribute to improving Pathstream's recruitment process by developing and documenting best practices through strategic thinking.

About You

  • 7+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 4+ years specializing in executive search or senior-level hiring at a high-growth company or retained search firm.
  • Proven track record placing Director, VP and C-level talent across multiple functions (e.g., Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Operations, & Sales ).
  • Deep understanding of executive assessment methodologies, leadership competencies, and organizational design.
  • High EQ, exceptional judgment, and a consultative approach when working with senior executives and sometimes confidential matters.
  • Exceptional sourcing and networking skills; experienced with search tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Deep understanding of U.S. employment law, particularly as it pertains to remote hiring practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling narratives to engage top executive talent.
  • A commitment to inclusive leadership hiring and closing representation gaps at the senior level.

    • Tier 1 city (SF or NYC): $55-70 per hour
    • Tier 2 city: $50-62 per hour
    • Tier 3 city $45-55 per hour
