Summary

Lead the Content Generation team at Panopto as an Engineering Manager, overseeing AI and content pipelines for visual and audio-based learning solutions. Direct a team of 5-6 developers while ensuring robust, scalable architecture for generative AI systems.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and mentor a team of 5-6 developers, define hiring plans, and oversee AI content generation and ML engineering initiatives. Provide technical leadership on system architecture, conduct design and code reviews, and collaborate with Product Management to ensure delivery of scalable AI content pipelines.

Skills & Tools: Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, React, MongoDB, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); strong people management and technical leadership abilities; experience with ML systems, system architecture, and project management.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; multiple years of experience with complex projects and technical leadership. Strong attention to detail, hands-on problem-solving skills, and desire to stay close to implementation.

Location: Remote - United States

Compensation: $170,000 – $185,000/year
