We are seeking a well-rounded Senior Consultant with strong hands-on expertise across Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Purview (Information Protection & Compliance), Microsoft Teams Voice, Microsoft Sentinel, and Active Directory / Hybrid Identity. In this role, you will lead client engagements, conduct workshops, architect solutions, and implement end-to-end security, identity, and collaboration capabilities across Microsoft 365, Azure, and on-premises environments. This position blends advisory, architecture, and technical delivery for enterprise customers.

What you’ll do
- Lead enterprise client engagements, workshops, and end to end implementations across Microsoft Security, Identity, and Collaboration platforms.
- Architect and deliver solutions for Microsoft Defender XDR, Purview (Information Protection & Compliance), Teams Phone, Sentinel, and Active Directory / Hybrid Identity across Microsoft 365, Azure, and on prem environments.
- Design and implement:
o Defender XDR protections, threat hunting, and incident response integrated with Sentinel.
o Purview capabilities including sensitivity labels, DLP, eDiscovery, Records Management, and Insider Risk.
o Teams Phone solutions (Direct Routing, Operator Connect, E911, call queues, auto attendants, and migrations from legacy PBXs).
o Microsoft Sentinel SIEM solutions using KQL, analytics rules, automation playbooks, and cost optimized ingestion.
o Active Directory & Hybrid Identity architectures including Entra ID, AD Connect, Conditional Access, MFA, GPOs, and AD security models.
- Define security, identity, compliance, and collaboration strategies; deliver roadmaps, assessments, and remediation plans aligned to industry frameworks.
- Own the full project lifecycle: kickoff, architecture, deployment, troubleshooting, documentation, and customer handover.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, primary customer contact for escalations, and liaison with vendors when required.
- Contribute to internal best practices, reusable IP, mentoring, training, and standardized service offerings.
What you need to succeed
Must have
- 5+ years of consulting experience in Microsoft Cloud Security, Identity, or Modern Workplace.
- Deep, hands on expertise in at least three of the following:
o Microsoft Defender XDR
o Microsoft Purview
o Microsoft Teams Voice
o Microsoft Sentinel
o Active Directory & Hybrid Identity
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Zero Trust principles.
- Proven experience leading client workshops, producing architecture and “as built” documentation, and delivering enterprise grade solutions.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and business audiences, with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., SC 200/300/400, MS 700, AZ 500) or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, or GDPR.
- Experience operating in large enterprise environments with formal change control processes would be an asset.
- Ability to obtain Government of Canada Security Clearance.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in consulting or customer facing technical roles.
- Bilingual French is an Asset
- Experience with Quest Active Directory migration, recovery, or auditing tools.
- Exposure to Security Copilot, SOAR workflows, identity governance, and automation using PowerShell, KQL, or Logic Apps.
- Experience supporting large scale identity, security, voice, or compliance modernization initiatives and building reusable internal IP.

Salaries are based on a 40-hourworkweek,andpaidon a bi-weekly payroll schedule.
