Summary
Lead a team of software developers at Common App, a mission-driven non-profit, to create impactful web and mobile products for higher education. Mentor developers while ensuring high-quality software delivery for the college admissions process.
Skills & Tools: Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, modern SPA frameworks (Angular, TypeScript), C#, .NET Core, AWS services, CI/CD tools, relational and non-relational databases, and Agile methodologies. Strong people management and organizational influence capabilities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field; 8-10 years of progressive software development experience; and 6-8 years of experience as a people manager.
Location: Remote, United States. Travel required for twice-annual company retreats.
Compensation: $135,000 – $149,034 / annually
