Summary
Learning Specialist role supporting students with IEP goals at Envision Education schools in the Bay Area for the 2026-2027 school year. Focus on leading academic initiatives within an equity-first, anti-racist educational environment.
Key Responsibilities: Lead case management for students with IEPs, manage caseloads, train instructional staff, coordinate service providers, and facilitate IEP meetings. Collaborate on assessments, create instructional plans, and ensure students meet IEP requirements and college/career readiness goals.
Skills & Tools: Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP management, data analysis for instructional improvement, and effective collaboration. Commitment to equity-focused and anti-racist educational practices.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; must possess or be eligible for a valid California Teaching Credential. Demonstrated commitment to equity-focused practices, especially for marginalized communities.
Location: Hybrid in Bay Area, California (San Francisco, Oakland, and Hayward)
Compensation: $63,672 – $102,546 / annually
