Summary

The Learning Resource Curator at Western Governors University oversees the curation and management of educational resources to ensure accessibility and relevance for students' learning experiences. This role is pivotal in collaborating with schools to build comprehensive learning resource collections aligned with program objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include collaborating with schools and Program Development Owners to curate educational resources, maintaining a centralized asset tracker to monitor resource lifecycle, and evaluating the suitability of existing versus custom-created content. The role also involves providing vetted resource lists to designers and ensuring resources are accessible through learning management systems.
Skills & Tools: Required skills include strong organizational abilities, knowledge of Open Educational Resources, familiarity with accessibility standards, excellent communication and collaboration capabilities, and experience with instructional design. Proficiency in asset tracking and understanding of online higher education environments is essential.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience are required. Preference is given to candidates with experience in publishing or online higher education.
Location: Hybrid in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States of America
Compensation: $49,800 – $74,600/year
