Summary

Join Oxford University Press as an Inside Sales Representative to promote digital course materials to higher education institutions and influence adoption decisions. This role directly impacts improved student outcomes by providing pedagogical solutions to learning challenges in college classrooms.

Key Responsibilities: Interact virtually with college and university professors to promote digital course materials, making an average of 30 calls per day supported by email campaigns. Conduct needs analysis conversations and product demos to generate and sustain OUP adoptions.
Skills & Tools: Strong computer skills, digital literacy, attention to detail, exceptional organizational and time management abilities, problem-solving skills, and excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with a team-focused mindset and communicate persuasively.
Qualifications: Experience in the Higher Education industry preferred but not essential. Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM tools preferred but not essential.
Location: Hybrid in Cary, North Carolina, United States (2 days per week in office) with remote options available across the United States.
Compensation: $51,459 – $59,000/year

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role provides pedagogical solutions to learning challenges in higher education classrooms, directly impacting improved student outcomes.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Interact virtually with college and university professors to promote our digital course materials and influence adoption decisions.
  • Responsible for making an average of 30 calls a day, supported by email campaigns, to secure opportunities to engage in a needs analysis conversation and demo our products to generate and sustain OUP adoptions.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills and ability to problem solve, prioritize, and manage heavy workloads and deadlines

  • Experience in the Higher Education industry preferred but not essential
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM preferred but not essential

Position Location: This role can be done in a hybrid environment in Cary, NC (2 times a week in office). This role can also be done in a remote environment in the United States.
