Summary

Learning & Development Specialist for Ford's Global Data Insight & Analytics division responsible for designing, implementing, and managing strategic learning initiatives that enhance data literacy, AI proficiency, and analytical capabilities across the organization. This role directly empowers employees through continuous learning and skill development while driving Ford's data-driven future and competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end management of quarterly learning goals, develop learning dashboards and reporting mechanisms, and oversee learning platform optimization (e.g., Udemy). Plan and execute high-impact learning events, curate technical content with subject matter experts, design role-specific learning pathways, and develop multi-channel communication strategies to promote learning opportunities across GDI&A.

Skills & Tools: Strong project management and program coordination abilities, proficiency with learning management systems and platforms, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Data analysis and metrics tracking capability, familiarity with technical domains (data analytics, AI, Power BI, BigQuery), and ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Business, or related field with 3-5+ years of L&D program management experience, preferably in technology or data-driven environments. Experience managing learning platforms, designing training pathways, and demonstrating measurable impact on employee skill development and organizational outcomes.

Location: Tumwater, Thurston County, Washington (Remote with preferred weekly onsite collaboration in Dearborn, MI for candidates within 50-mile radius).

Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $62,000 – $85,000/year based on title, seniority, company, and Pacific Northwest location.
