Summary
Software Engineer role at McGraw Hill working on the ALEKS platform, an AI-powered educational learning system impacting millions of learners and educators. You'll design and develop innovative technology solutions that enhance personalized online learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, debug, maintain and test software applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and MySQL while integrating new features into the ALEKS platform. Collaborate with engineers, QA, UX, and product managers in an Agile team environment to deliver roadmap projects and improve code quality through reviews.
Skills & Tools: Required: strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, MySQL, problem-solving, and communication skills; test-driven development experience. Preferred: familiarity with accessibility principles and practices.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field with 1-5 years of software engineering experience. Self-motivated, detail-oriented learner with ability to work with guidance from senior developers.
Location: Remote position open to applicants authorized to work within the United States
Compensation: $93,950 โ $135,000 / annually
