Summary
Lead a team of 15-20 Account Managers in the Federal DOD segment, driving sales performance and customer loyalty while managing a book of business worth a minimum of $100 million. Serve as an accountable leader responsible for team and individual productivity within the Sales organization.
Key Responsibilities: Develop sales strategies, coach and mentor Account Managers to improve performance, manage customer relationships and resources, and create operating plans to achieve sales initiatives and segment goals. Travel to customer sites, hire and retain diverse team members, develop account strategies for profitable growth, and monitor team performance against targets.
Skills & Tools: Proven leadership abilities, strong consultative selling skills, effective negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities, and ability to coach and motivate diverse teams. Must demonstrate strong communication, strategic planning, and collaborative skills across departments.
Qualifications: Minimum Associate's degree with extensive sales management experience or successful track record in sales combined with leadership skills. Experience managing large teams and books of business in Federal/DOD segments is preferred.
Location: Hybrid in Chicago, Illinois, United States with travel requirements up to 50%
Compensation: $80,000 โ $120,000 / annually
