Role Snapshot

Account Executive role at HMH focused on driving student success by developing innovative edtech solutions for schools in Illinois. This inside sales position targets small accounts and identifies new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities: Act as a trusted advisor managing customer relationships, developing account plans, and closing complex deals while maintaining accurate SFDC data and forecasting. Monitor industry trends, track sales performance using KPIs, collaborate with internal teams, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Skills & Tools: Required skills include edtech sales experience, consultative selling, complex deal management, and strong system skills for online presentations and consultations. Strong relationship-building, communication, and analytical abilities are essential.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required; K12 teaching experience is preferred. Edtech sales experience is mandatory.
Location: Illinois
Compensation: $50K–$55K/yr
