Skills & Tools: Proficiency in MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Office 365, and SharePoint; strong presentation and consulting skills; excellent communication abilities; and demonstrated solution sales expertise. Ability to work independently while being a positive team member while managing aggressive quotas.
Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent; preferred 8+ years in client-facing technology sales roles. Ability to travel occasionally (25-40%) for key moments such as team summits, training, and customer meetings.

Team Overview

The Services team works closely together to set PowerSchool customers up for ongoing success through post-implementation support, troubleshooting, consultation on system setup options, and training on features and functionality. The team offers cross-portfolio support, all while meeting organizational objectives for revenue, utilization, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Description

The Solution Sales team oversees the selling of various product lines to K-12 school districts. Team members have a deep knowledge of our products and sales best practices, with a focus on growing revenue.

Your day-to-day job will consist of:

    • Using a solution sales approach to sell PowerSchool professional services to K-12 schools
    • Product Knowledge – Expand knowledge and maintains continual understanding of designated applications and client business processes. Acts as a subject matter expert for overall Professional Services & the Customer Journey
    • Managing and submitting weekly forecasts against assigned quota and leading overall services product solution team goals
    • Presentation Execution –Able to lead effective Professional Services sessions to varied audiences and customer roles during the sales process.
    • Consulting Skills -Responsible for determining client needs and making appropriate recommendations for current and future value-added services, products, etc.
    • Developing and executing marketing campaigns focusing on specific territory and services offerings
    • Communication - Liaises with clients either on-site, by phone or email. Sets project and software expectations. Responds to feedback, resolving any issues in a manner that satisfies the customer while meeting business objectives.
    • Being a positive member of a team environment while working independently to meet an aggressive quota

PowerSchool offers the following benefits:

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $63,900 - $119,200 USD plus applicable commission. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
