Technical Business Case Intern at KnowBe4 working with the Sales Engineering department to develop business value assessments and competitive intelligence for cybersecurity solutions. The role offers exposure to technical sales, customer demonstrations, and strategic business analysis within the security awareness and human risk management sector.

Key Responsibilities: Research and analyze business value assessments, compile competitive intelligence reports, shadow Sales Engineers in customer engagements and Proof of Value evaluations, and support development of presentation materials, templates, and tailored collateral. Assist with cybersecurity trend research, business analysis techniques, and creation of technical use case documentation.
Skills & Tools: Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Background in business, cybersecurity, or related fields preferred, with ability to research, synthesize complex information, and create professional business presentations.
Qualifications: Background in business, cybersecurity, or related fields required. Preferred qualifications include experience in technical sales, business analysis, or relevant academic research experience.
Location: Hybrid in Clearwater, Florida, United States (4 days/week in-office Monday-Thursday; open to greater Tampa Bay area)

This position is a hybrid role open to candidates in the greater Tampa Bay area. This position will require the intern to work in our Clearwater, FL office 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday).

Dates of Program: May 18th, 2026 - August 14, 2026 (13 weeks)

As a Technical Business Case Intern, you will work with the KnowBe4 Sales Engineering department on a wide variety of initiatives in the cybersecurity industry including, but not limited to, technical evaluation plans, Proof of Value templates, competitive intelligence, technical use case development, and business value documentation. In addition, you will be tasked with supporting the Sales Engineering team with researching, analyzing, developing, and documenting compelling business cases that demonstrate the value of KnowBe4's products to prospective customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with researching, analyzing and developing business value assessments for KnowBe4 products across various customer scenarios
  • Assist with compiling and analyzing competitive intelligence reports, feature comparison matrices, and differentiation documentation for top competitors in the security awareness and human risk management space
  • Shadow Sales Engineers and Sales Architects in a wide array of technical and business matters, including customer demonstrations, Proof of Value (POV) evaluations, and strategic account engagements
  • Assist with cybersecurity trend research regarding developing industry challenges, emerging threats, and their impacts on organizational security posture
  • Support the creation or improvement of templates, presentation materials, playbooks and tailored collateral
  • Research new business analysis techniques and sales engineering methodologies to make Sales Engineering deliverables and presentations more efficient
  • Research developing cybersecurity awareness and human risk management trends in relation to new evolving technology in the workspace
  • Complete projects related to business case development and technical sales support as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Research experience using business databases, market intelligence platforms, or academic research tools

  • Proficient in the use of data analysis and visualization tools
  • Talent for multi-tasking, being results oriented and organizationally proficient
