Role Snapshot

Sales Development Representative at CommonLit, a nonprofit education technology organization, will support the sales team in early pipeline development to expand the impact of their reading program in U.S. schools. This role is critical to reaching yearly bookings goals and managing the initial stages of the sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities: Prospect and source leads, conduct direct outreach via email and phone calls, qualify potential leads, manage CRM entries in Salesforce, analyze pipeline trends, and conduct market research on state contexts and education policy. Additional responsibilities include proposing process improvements and contributing to team projects as needed.
Skills & Tools: Candidates must have strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills with a goal-oriented and team-first mindset. Preferred skills include experience with CRM systems and customer-facing roles.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required with at least 1 year of experience as a K-12 classroom teacher or Sales Development Representative. Strong time-management skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and resilience are essential.
Location: United States
Compensation: $60K–$70K/yr
