This is a highly strategic and technical role for a growth leader who thrives at the intersection of SEO, AI innovation, and content ecosystem design.

This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you'll do at Figma:

  • Lead Figma’s global SEO strategy across technical, content, and off-page initiatives to drive organic growth and acquisition and partner with Product, Content, and Web Engineering teams to ensure model-friendly, semantically rich content and markup
  • Expand visibility beyond Google by optimizing for AI search and large language models like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity
  • Build scalable, programmatic SEO systems that grow organic reach and strengthen topical authority across key user journeys
  • Advance Figma’s technical SEO foundation with improvements to site architecture, Core Web Vitals, crawl efficiency, and structured data
  • Develop strategies to increase Figma’s inclusion and accuracy in AI-generated answers through better citations and content optimization
  • Foster a culture of experimentation through A/B testing, user intent validation, and conversion optimization
  • Hire, mentor, and collaborate across teams to embed SEO and AI visibility best practices throughout Figma’s content ecosystem

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • 8+ years of SEO and organic growth experience, with at least 3+ years managing a team
  • Proven track record driving large-scale organic acquisition across traditional search and emerging AI/LLM discovery channels
  • Deep technical and international SEO expertise, including site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema, localization, and hreflang strategy
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills, able to interpret complex data, align cross-functional teams, and drive measurable outcomes
  • Curious, experimental mindset, comfortable innovating in AI-driven discovery, conversational search, and model optimization

While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Global B2B SaaS or tech experience
  • Experience in building and scaling AI LMM channels
  • Recognized as an industry leader in SEO

At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills.
