Summary

Support Figma's Investor Relations and Business Operations team in solving strategic business challenges by monitoring capital markets, supporting investor engagement, and executing growth initiatives with direct impact on the business.

Key Responsibilities: Monitor industry trends and financial performance reporting, assist with shareholder engagement activities and investor meetings, support strategic growth opportunities, and develop new financial processes and systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Skills & Tools: Strong analytical expertise with ability to build integrated financial models from scratch, excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels, structured problem-solving approach, and project management capabilities with attention to detail.
Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in investment banking or private equity with demonstrated ability to distill complex issues into frameworks and develop action plans; experience at high-growth B2B SaaS companies, M&A integration, or SQL is a plus.
Location: San Francisco, CA or New York, NY; remote option available within the United States
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $160,000 – $220,000/year based on title, seniority, company (Figma), and location (San Francisco/New York).

Job Description

The IR & Business Operations team is focused on solving some of Figma's most challenging business issues. We are a small team that works collaboratively across Engineering, Product, Go-to-Market, Accounting, Finance and Communications teams on a variety of strategic initiatives with a direct and quantifiable impact on our business. The role requires someone who is highly analytical and strategic, a great communicator, approaches problems in a structured manner, and is comfortable with ambiguity. You’ll get substantial senior leadership exposure, focus on the high-priority business issues and be plugged into every facet of the business. 

This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you'll do at Figma:

  • This individual will support core activities of the IR & Business Operations team and collaborate with cross-functional partners across Accounting, Communications, Finance & Strategy, Legal, and beyond.
  • Monitor and report on industry trends related to financial performance and equity capital markets 
  • Assist with shareholder engagement activities, including investor meetings, calls, and events
  • Support the execution of strategic growth opportunities 
  • Help develop and implement new financial processes and systems

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in investment banking or private equity
  • Strong analytical expertise, and extensive experience building integrated models from scratch
  • Experience building relationships and communicating with stakeholders across all levels and functions
  • Demonstrated ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and develop concrete action plans
  • Ability to roll up your sleeves and run with it
  • Demonstrated project management skills and attention to detail
  • Proven proclivity for quickly identifying and methodically resolving potential road-blocks

While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Experience at a high growth B2B SaaS company
  • Experience with M&A integration
  • Experience with SQL
