Role Snapshot
Cyber Instructional Assistant role supporting entry-level technician training at Per Scholas for a 3-6 month contract. Responsibilities include assisting lead instructors, supporting learners, and performing administrative tasks to ensure quality technical training delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Assist lead instructor in conducting technical training sessions, monitor and support 15-30 learners in classroom/virtual environments, troubleshoot lab equipment and software issues, grade assessments, and conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions. Maintain attendance records, participate in daily/weekly check-ins, and perform data entry in learner management systems.
Skills & Tools: Knowledge of hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity, and troubleshooting with strong communication and tech-savvy abilities. Commitment to student success, ability to work in team environments, and proficiency with CanvasLMS, Salesforce, and other learning platforms.
Qualifications: Preferred candidates include Per Scholas graduates, individuals with relevant IT experience or CompTIA certifications (CySa+, A+), and those interested in teaching and continuous learning. Basic understanding of IT fundamentals required.
Location: Los Angeles, California
Compensation: $22/hr
