Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT or a related technical field required with 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, education technology, or related field. Cybersecurity or IT certifications are preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

As a Lab Architect you will collaborate with product management and industry experts to outline the near-and long-range plan including the virtual lab roadmap. In addition, you will execute the product roadmap by creating new or revising existing engaging and effective learning activities within our proprietary lab environment. This role requires a deep understanding of cyber security concepts, hands-on experience in virtual lab design, networking, virtualization (VMware), and operating systems (Windows and Linux). 

 WHERE YOU’LL WORK 

This position will work remote in the United States.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Work with a team of partners and vendors to create, maintain, and manage virtual cybersecurity labs.
  • Manage product-related incidents and customer inquiries, prioritizing their resolution and providing support to the technical customer support team in resolving complex issues.
  • Collaborate with product managers and business leaders to define the strategic vision for new and existing cybersecurity and IT products, considering market trends and customer needs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with industry experts, customers, and external thought leaders to gather insights, validate, and refine new learning tools, content, and associated products, ensuring they remain relevant and effective.
  • Continuous learning to remain current with the latest trends and advancements in cybersecurity, IT, education technology, and instructional design.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related technical field is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, education technology, or a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry concepts and practices.
  • Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, IT, education technology, or instructional design are a plus, demonstrating a commitment to professional growth and expertise.
  • Proven ability to develop project plans for complex digital projects and successfully deliver technology, software, and digital content within specified timelines.
  • Proficient in cybersecurity, virtualization (VMware), networking, and operating systems (Windows and Linux), with demonstrated technical expertise in these areas.
  • Knowledge of various cyber tasks, including vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, incident response, security monitoring, security audits, security policy development, security awareness training, forensics analysis, secure coding, and risk assessment.
  • Capable of translating product portfolio strategy into measurable plans, while effectively managing risk and change.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, effectively managing both short-term and long-term deadlines.
  • Keeps abreast of current and emerging education technology standards, learning best practices, pedagogies, and the challenges faced by educational stakeholders.
  • Passionate about innovative technology and its potential to improve education.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to deliver effective presentations.
  • 5% Travel required.
