Role Overview The Training Coordinator helps develop, deliver, and maintain training programs for a manufacturing environment. This role works closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Safety, Quality, and Human Resources to support new hire orientation, training records, skills matrices, employee transfers, and ongoing process improvement. What will you do? Support the development and delivery of training programs and certification programs for operations, safety, quality, and related teams. Conduct and coordinate classroom training and on-the-job training for production employees. Maintain training systems documentation, training records, skills matrices, and training plans. Work with Manufacturing Engineering to develop training materials such as operator instructions, work instructions, training manuals, and training videos. Support new hire orientation covering safety, quality, and production processes. Create and maintain processes for employee transfers between jobs, departments, and shifts. Coordinate process audits to measure training effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. Support quality initiatives, process changes, and process controls related to training. Assist with interview criteria from a training perspective and help develop training plans with operations management. Participate in process improvement activities that strengthen training systems and support sustainable performance. How will you do it? Own the outcome by keeping training documentation accurate, following safety and quality expectations, and addressing gaps before they become issues on the floor. Stay close to the work by partnering with operators, supervisors, engineers, and support teams to make training practical, clear, and job-ready. Improve every day by using audits, feedback, and problem-solving to refine training plans, update materials, and strengthen standard work. Win as one team by coaching with patience, communicating clearly, and supporting smooth onboarding, transfers, and cross-functional coordination. What are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field. Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams. Commitment to continuous technical learning and personal development. Nice to Have Familiarity with Microsoft programs. Experience supporting training records, skills matrices, or training plans in a manufacturing environment. Exposure to process audits, operator instruction development, or training video creation.
