About the role: The FinOps Practitioner is a strategic and analytical professional responsible for optimizing cloud financial operations across the organization. This role bridges Finance, Engineering, and Operations to ensure cloud spend aligns with business goals. The practitioner will lead cost visibility efforts, drive optimization strategies, and foster a culture of financial accountability in cloud usage. What you’ll be doing: Cloud Cost Management: Monitor and analyze cloud spend across platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement tagging strategies for cost allocation maturity. [Finops Job...escription] Optimization Initiatives: Recommend and execute strategies such as reservations, savings plans, and shutdown schedules to reduce waste and improve efficiency. [Finops Job...escription] Forecasting & Budgeting: Collaborate with Finance and Product teams to refine unit cost accuracy and support demand planning and forecasting. [Sr. FinOps Analyst] Reporting & Visualization: Prepare and present reports to technical and business stakeholders using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. [Sr. FinOps Analyst] Governance & Policy Development: Establish policies and controls to ensure cloud use complies with regulatory requirements and aligns with business objectives. [Blackbaud...ort Out v3] What we’ll want you to have: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, or related field. 2+ years of experience in cloud financial management or FinOps. Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and cost management tools. Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL, Python, or BI tools. FinOps Practitioner certification preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Able to work flexible hours as required by business priorities.
