Heinemann is seeking an Account Executive in Santa Barbara, CA to drive sales growth and develop customer strategies for educators. The role focuses on maximizing sales performance while providing exceptional service to school districts and educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities: Develop customer strategies and sales plans to exceed targets, prioritize high-value accounts, monitor competitor activities, and collaborate with internal teams. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, stay informed on market trends, and demonstrate deep knowledge of Heinemann product offerings and state/local educational initiatives.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in MS Office and Sales Management Software, strong questioning and communication skills, and demonstrated ability to analyze market trends. Knowledge of educational resources and proven consultative sales approach required.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or Liberal Arts (or equivalent combination of education and experience) with proven sales experience and quota attainment. Valid California driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
