Role Snapshot
The National Literacy Consultant supports Lexia's sales team by providing instructional and technical expertise in promoting PK-12 literacy solutions based on the Science of Reading. This role helps districts address literacy challenges while driving business opportunities through expert guidance and customized presentations.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with account executives to engage district leaders, deliver tailored product demonstrations, and build internal team capacity on literacy concepts. Represent Lexia at educational events, provide feedback to product teams, and support RFPs with expert input on instructional alignment and efficacy.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication abilities, deep knowledge of the Science of Reading, technical understanding of Lexia's product portfolio, and ability to translate product functionality into instructional impact language. Exceptional public speaking and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams required.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Education, Literacy, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field; 7+ years in PK-12 education with 3+ years in leadership at a large district or education agency. Strong grasp of Science of Reading principles and expertise in literacy education and curriculum alignment.
Location: Remote - United States
Compensation: $80K–$130K/yr
