Details: Purpose The purpose of this position is to coordinate interpreter training initiatives and support consistent development, delivery, and administration of training, participant activities, continuing education, documentation, and project requirements. Responsibilities Coordinate recruitment and enrollment of interpreter cohorts, including managing applications, communications, and enrollment logistics. Support development, review, and production of interpreter training materials by coordinating timelines, trainer and subject-matter-expert input, content review, organization, and preparation for online and in-person instruction. Support planning and implementation of training institutes and other professional learning activities, including scheduling, materials preparation, access coordination, participant communication, and logistics. Coordinate coaching, mentoring, and applied practice activities, including scheduling, communication, participant support, and tracking progress. Support continuing education processes for interpreter training activities, including RID CEUs, documentation requirements, participant records, and related administrative processes. Maintain project timelines, milestone tracking, work plans, and follow-up systems to help ensure deliverables remain on schedule across the project team. Support data collection, performance tracking, and project documentation, including enrollment, completion, participation, application of skills, reporting materials, presentations, and dissemination needs. Maintain relationships and communication with interpreter organizations, professional partners, trainers, and other stakeholders to support training implementation, dissemination, and future NDC interpreter training activities. Required Qualifications Master's degree in education, interpreting, rehabilitation, program administration, or a related field. Six years of relevant experience. Three or more years of experience coordinating professional development, trainings, or grant-funded projects. Demonstrated experience managing multiple timelines, deliverables, and participant-facing activities. Experience working with deaf people and deaf communities. Experience working with sign language interpreters or interpreter education, training, or professional development. Strong organizational, project management, and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across a project team. Proficiency in American Sign Language. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications Five or more years of experience coordinating programs, trainings, cohorts, or grant-funded projects. Experience supporting development or implementation of training materials, curricula, or professional learning activities. Familiarity with vocational rehabilitation, Pre-Employment Transition Services, transition services, or postsecondary education and employment systems. Previous experience working on a federally funded grant, particularly an RSA-funded project.
