Summary
Staff Design Program Manager at Grammarly overseeing design operations and leading cross-functional teams to enhance AI-powered communication tools. This role manages design projects, mentors designers, and drives alignment across product, engineering, and research teams.
Key Responsibilities: Manage design operations for key product surfaces, mentor and support designers, drive stakeholder alignment, oversee foundational documentation and processes, and support Design Operations initiatives. Anticipate challenges, mitigate risks related to project delivery and design burnout, and iterate on team workflows and product development lifecycle.
Skills & Tools: 7+ years in design operations management with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Experience scaling in-house design teams, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work independently and effectively in fast-paced environments.
Qualifications: 7+ years of design operations management experience with demonstrated success scaling in-house design teams. Preferred qualifications include problem-solving skills, commitment to inclusivity in operations, and ability to work independently.
Location: Hybrid in New York City, New York, United States with potential collaboration with teams in San Francisco and Berlin
Compensation: $171,000 – $210,000/year
