Role Snapshot

K-12 Account Manager role for American Reading Company targeting Western New York schools to drive new business and maintain client relationships in literacy education solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Drive annual sales targets through prospecting and acquiring new school districts, managing the complete sales cycle from cold calling to closing, and expanding existing account relationships by understanding customer needs and presenting tailored ELA solutions.
Skills & Tools: Excellent prospecting, cold calling, presentation, networking, and account management skills with the ability to work autonomously, be self-motivated, and balance new business development with account servicing.
Qualifications: Several years of K-12 sales experience required, preferably with experience selling literacy solutions and established district-level contacts within Western New York territory; residency in Syracuse/Buffalo/Rochester area preferred with ability to travel.
Location: New York
Compensation: $150K–$300K/yr
