Summary

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of implementation professionals, overseeing end-to-end implementation execution across School Nutrition, ERP, Online Payments, and State Nutrition software solutions. Engage with customers and stakeholders, drive operational effectiveness, monitor project timelines and budgets, and serve as escalation point for customer concerns.
Skills & Tools: Strong leadership and team management abilities, expertise in SaaS and education sectors, project management methodologies, financial acumen and P&L management, customer relationship management, and mentoring/team development capabilities.

About The Role:

As the Sr. Director, Professional Services at LINQ you will be responsible for leading and managing the professional services team of Directors, Managers, Project Managers, Consultants, and Business Analysts across all our products; ensuring successful implementation and adoption of our educational technology solutions. You will work closely with customers, internal teams, and external partners to deliver exceptional service and drive customer success. This role requires a deep understanding of the Education & SaaS landscape, strong leadership skills, prior experience creating, implementing, and executing Professional Services methodologies, and the ability to navigate complex projects and relationships. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

Leadership and Team Management: 

  • Cultivate a high-performing team of implementation leaders and individual contributors by sourcing, hiring, coaching, and mentoring talented individuals who deliver operational excellence and successful implementation outcomes.
  • Foster a collaborative and open team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional development. 
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the team, aligning Key Performance Indicators with company strategies and customer needs.

Customer Engagement and Relationship Management: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including state administrators, district leaders, and educational institutions. 
  • Collaborate with sales teams during the pre-sales process to understand customer requirements and develop effective implementation plans. 
  • Serve as the escalation point of contact for customers throughout the implementation process, leading teams through a smooth transition and addressing any concerns or challenges. 

Driving Operational Effectiveness: 

  • Champion a clear and compelling vision for implementation success that aligns with the organization's goals and inspires others to act. 
  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation execution and effectiveness of our School Nutrition, ERP, Online Payments, and State Nutrition software solutions, ensuring the team delivers projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. 
  • Oversee effective execution of standard project plans, resource allocation, and timelines, coordinating activities across different teams and departments. 
  • Drive customer success by ensuring the successful adoption of all LINQ solutions and maximizing the value delivered to customers. 
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, gather feedback, and advocate for customer needs internally to improve product offerings and service delivery. 

Ownership of KPIs & Operational Metrics

  • Manages P&L with guidance & input from CCO
  • Measures and exceeds all metrics including Utilization, TTV, Backlog and margins
  • Monitor and report at the executive level on overall project health, timelines, identified risks and associated mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes. 
  • Forecasts revenue & resource allocation on a regular basis in coordination with Finance
