Create and manage agricultural educational content for NC State University's small grains and variety trial programs across multiple digital platforms. Develop marketing materials and engage with stakeholders at industry events to promote agricultural research and education.
Key Responsibilities: Capture, edit, and upload short-form and long-form video content with closed captioning to university web portals and social media (Facebook, X, Instagram). Design and prepare written and visual marketing materials, and represent programs at grower meetings and industry events.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in video editing, content creation, and social media management; strong written and visual communication abilities; familiarity with multimedia platforms and closed captioning tools; ability to translate agricultural concepts for diverse audiences.
Qualifications: Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a communications, marketing, agriculture, or related field; demonstrated experience with content creation and social media; basic video editing and graphic design skills preferred.

Job Description
Capture,edit, prepare and upload agricultural educational content from small grains and Official
Variety Trial programs to multi-media platforms. These may include NC State University
web portals, social media accounts associated with the program including but not limited to
facebook, X and Instagram. Content creation will be both short and long form. Short form
to include images with written captions or short video clips with closed captioning. Long
form will include 2 to 5 minute video content describing an agricultural concept with closed
captioning. Development of written and visual program marketing materials will also be
required, along with attendance at grower meetings and larger industry events to deliver
those materials to stakeholders.
