Role Snapshot
Lead third-party vendor assessments and customer trust initiatives at Figma, balancing vendor security reviews with customer compliance inquiries. This role ensures the organization's security posture is clearly communicated and continuously improved across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct vendor security assessments, monitor ongoing vendor risk, and coordinate responses to customer security questionnaires and audits. Partner with Procurement, Legal, Contracts, and Security teams to embed compliance controls into vendor agreements and develop risk reporting metrics.
Skills & Tools: Strong understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2) with excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences. Strong organizational and project management abilities with experience in security questionnaire responses and customer audit management.
Qualifications: Experience responding to security questionnaires and managing customer audits with strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards. Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CISSP, and experience with GRC platforms are beneficial but not required.
Location: Hybrid - San Francisco, New York
Compensation: $100Kโ$150K/yr
