OPS Student Assistant Graphic Designer
Classification Minimum Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as a University of Florida student.
- Experience using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
- Basic understanding of typography, layout, color, and graphic design principles.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
Job Description:
- Design signage, posters, banners, displays, and other print materials.
- Create and edit layouts using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
- Prepare artwork and files for printing and production.
- Assist with event materials, publications, promotional graphics, and other design projects.
- Make revisions based on feedback and follow established UF and DCP brand standards.
- Help organize design files and project assets.
Up to 20 hours per week, with scheduling flexibility around classes.
Expected Salary:
$15/hr
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a University of Florida student.
- Experience using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
- Basic understanding of typography, layout, color, and graphic design principles.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
Preferred:
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience designing for print, signage, or large-format graphics.
- Familiarity with preparing files for professional printing.
Students from graphic design, visual communication, advertising, architecture, digital arts, and related programs are encouraged to apply.

Examples may be submitted as a link to an online portfolio or as a PDF. Class projects, personal projects, freelance work, and professional work are all welcome.
