Role Snapshot

This role provides survivor-centered, trauma-informed support services and crisis intervention for students impacted by interpersonal violence including sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking. The coordinator leads prevention education and outreach initiatives to foster a safer campus environment while promoting healing and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver crisis intervention and survivor support services for students affected by interpersonal violence. Lead prevention education programs, outreach campaigns, and awareness initiatives in collaboration with campus and community partners.
Skills & Tools: Trauma-informed care approach, crisis intervention expertise, and strong interpersonal communication. Community partnership development and ability to design and deliver educational programming.
Qualifications: Typically requires a bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, public health, or related field, with experience in victim advocacy, crisis support, or sexual assault prevention. Background in interpersonal violence prevention and familiarity with survivor-centered approaches preferred.
Location: In-Person
Compensation: $38K–$52K/yr (estimated)

Job Description

The primary objective of this position is to provide survivor-centered, trauma-informed support services and crisis intervention for students impacted by interpersonal violence, including sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking. In collaboration with campus and community partners, this role also leads prevention education, outreach initiatives, and awareness campaigns to foster a safer, more inclusive campus environment while promoting long-term healing and empowerment for survivors.

This position is designated as sensitive. A fingerprint-based criminal history check will be required of the final candidate.
