Role Snapshot

Account Executive at Watermark drives revenue growth by selling assessment software solutions to higher education institutions across a multi-state region. The role focuses on understanding client needs, executing regional sales plans, and building long-term strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute regional sales plans to achieve monthly/quarterly/annual targets, prospect and generate new customer leads, and deliver consultative product demonstrations to higher education faculty and administration. Maintain strong client relationships, represent Watermark at industry events, and collaborate with internal teams to respond to RFIs and RFPs.
Skills & Tools: Strong B2B sales acumen, customer relationship management, and ability to conduct consultative product demonstrations. Excellent communication, judgment in qualifying prospects, and ability to map solutions to client needs are essential.
Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience required, with experience selling technology in higher education strongly preferred. Understanding of the higher education assessment market and SaaS sales experience are advantageous.
Location: None
Compensation: $80K–$85K/yr
