Summary

The Campus Recruiter at City Year generates interest in the AmeriCorps program among college students by building relationships and executing recruitment strategies across a portfolio of 10+ campuses in Louisiana. This role is critical to creating pipelines of talent and representing City Year's mission to prospective national service members.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct outreach and engagement with college students and alumni, build relationships with campus partners, host presentations and events at colleges, support candidates through the application process, and track recruitment metrics. Recruiters spend 2-3 days per week on campus developing networks and generating leads, with flexibility to work remotely on non-campus days.
Skills & Tools: Strong project management and presentation abilities, proficiency with CRM systems, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and organizational capabilities to manage multiple recruitment initiatives simultaneously. A valid Driver's License is required due to travel to campuses within the state.
Qualifications: Prior experience in recruitment, program coordination, or related roles in educational or nonprofit settings preferred. Demonstrated strong communication skills and commitment to inclusion and building diverse candidate pipelines.

Compensation: From $59K/yr
