Role Snapshot
Summer Sales Internship at Sourcebooks, a top-ranked U.S. publisher, where interns contribute meaningfully to real sales campaigns and learn how books reach readers through retail and distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities: Interns will learn sales processes, create retail sales presentations, analyze weekly sales reports, and attend meetings on print decisions and sales conferences. They will also review contracts, visit local stores, and identify competitive title information using sales analytics.
Skills & Tools: Strong interest in publishing, creativity, curiosity, and collaborative abilities are essential. Experience with data analysis and presentation skills are advantageous.
Qualifications: Current college sophomores, juniors, seniors, or recent graduates are eligible. A cover letter explaining motivation for Sourcebooks is required.
Location: Naperville, Illinois
Compensation: $17/hr
