Role Snapshot

Vice President of Client Solutions at ELB Learning is an enterprise sales leadership role responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing large-scale ($2M+) deals with enterprise clients in the Learning & Development market. The position drives new business growth through consultative selling and strategic account management.

Key Responsibilities: Prospect for and qualify new enterprise opportunities, conduct discovery calls with VP+ level contacts, manage product demonstrations, generate proposals and quotes, negotiate contracts, and secure customer commitments while maintaining CRM data. Hand off closed customers to support teams, generate referrals, and consistently achieve annual sales quotas.
Skills & Tools: Enterprise consultative selling expertise with MEDDICC methodology, exceptional verbal and written communication, CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred), persistence and stamina for high-volume prospecting, and demonstrated ability to close complex, multi-million dollar deals. L&D solutions knowledge is highly valued, including experience with learning strategy, content design, staff augmentation, course facilitation, and learning technologies.
Qualifications: 10+ years as an Enterprise Account Executive with proven success meeting or exceeding $2M+ annual sales quotas; prior experience selling Learning & Development solutions strongly preferred. Successful history with government, financial services, or technology clients is preferred.

Job Description

ELB Learning is hiring experienced Enterprise Account Executives to join our growing Sales team in the USA. These individuals are responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing opportunities with new and existing logos. Target clients are at the VP+ level and require a consultative selling approach, so expertise with MEDDICC is beneficial. Ideally you will have experience selling bespoke, services based L&D solutions encompassing 2 or more of the following L&D offerings:

  • Learning Strategy
  • Content Design and Development
  • Staff Augmentation
  • Course Facilitation
  • Learning Technologies (The Training Arcade, CenarioVR, Rehearsal, etc.)
  • LMS Configuration and Administration

Please note, if you do not (yet) have experience directly selling L&D solutions / bespoke services we can train you on our solutions and service offerings. Expertise successfully closing $2 million per annum business with US based enterprise clients is required!

Individuals who will ramp up quickly are likely to have a history of selling into the learning and development market and existing relationships that they can call upon. While the majority of your opportunities will come from your outbound sales efforts, traction and relationships, our ELB Learning marketing and BDR teams will provide inbound leads to bolster your sales funnel. However, we are primarily seeking 'hunters' not 'farmers'!

We have a strong preference for applicants who have already successfully sold to government, financial services or technology clients.


What you will do

  • Prospect for new contacts and opportunities
  • Conduct comprehensive discovery calls with potential customers
  • Manage demonstrations of ELB products and services
  • Generate proposals and quotes for packages aligned with customer needs
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms
  • Secure customer commitment to purchase
  • Effectively hand over closed customers to our support team
  • Generate referrals from customers
  • Consistently achieve quota

What you have:

  • 10+ years as an Enterprise Account Executive (ideally L&D services / solutions focused!)
  • Proven success and growth in consultative enterprise sales
  • A successful history selling Learning & Development solutions is preferred.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales quotas in the $2,000,000+per annum range
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Persistence and stamina
  • Experience with CRM software (Hubspot preferred)
  • Experience with L&D products preferred

Regions

  • We are currently only considering applicants based in the Atlanta GA, New York NY, Philadelphia PA, Seattle WA, or Washington DC metro areas
  • This role is USA based work from home role, however periodic travel to visit clients in person is part of your responsibility, as is willingness to travel to support marketing or other sales related initiatives (events, trade shows, etc).

Salary Description

  • $100,000 - $130,000 +7.5% uncapped commission
  • (expected OTE $200K-$300k year one)
