Summary

Contract position as a Math Editor for Amplify Education, responsible for reviewing and editing K-8 mathematics curriculum content for clarity, accuracy, and style adherence while ensuring alignment between student- and teacher-facing materials.

Key Responsibilities: Review and edit math materials across grade levels in print and digital formats, ensure consistency of voice and style adherence, monitor editorial progress against production schedules, and respond to content clarification questions from team members.

Skills & Tools: Required skills include experience with mathematics education, proficiency in Desmos Activity Builder and Google Docs editing/change tracking, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mathematics, mathematics education, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of editorial experience with mathematics curriculum and K-8 teaching experience.

Location: Remote position based in the United States with no travel required.

Compensation: $40/hour
