Summary
The Dean will lead Western Governors University's School of Education as an academic and operational leader, driving innovation in competency-based programs to enhance student success and career outcomes. This role holds end-to-end responsibility for program creation, expansion, industry partnerships, and student progression.
Key Responsibilities: Lead program development and market-relevant initiatives while fostering cross-functional collaborations with shared service teams and industry partners. Manage P&L performance, oversee student success metrics using data-driven insights, and drive organizational learning through continuous improvement.
Skills & Tools: Demonstrate student-centered leadership, data fluency, strategic thinking, and strong people management capabilities. Ability to influence diverse stakeholders, foster partnerships, adapt in matrixed environments, and communicate transparently.
Qualifications: Doctorate in a relevant field required, or master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. Must have senior leadership experience in program design and educational initiatives.
Location: Hybrid in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States
Compensation: $120,000 – $180,000/year
