Contract Instructional Designer role focused on creating comprehensive learning solutions for BP, including needs analysis, content design, and technology integration. The role impacts organizational learning effectiveness through innovative, multi-format instructional materials.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct learning needs assessments and competency frameworks, design diverse learning content (games, simulations, micro-learning, mobile-first), integrate Gen AI and rapid authoring tools, and manage evaluation/feedback cycles. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams through regular meetings and status updates.
Skills & Tools: Expert-level instructional design with proficiency in rapid authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, RISE, Captivate), adult learning principles, and game/simulation design. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills with awareness of Gen AI applications in learning technology.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field with 3-5+ years of instructional design experience in corporate or enterprise learning environments. Demonstrated portfolio of diverse learning solutions and experience with learning needs analysis and assessment.
Location: In-Person - UAE, United Arab Emirates
Compensation: AED 96K–AED 156K/yr (estimated)

Performing Learning Needs Analysis

  • Create competency framework using job-task analysis. 

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify knowledge and skill gaps within and outside of the organization. 

  • Determine the need for learning interventions at various organizational levels and across different departments. 

Needs Analysis and Strategy Development:   

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze learning needs and objectives.  

  • Content Design and Development:  

  • Visualize end products based on approved learning solutions.  

  • Develop high-level and low-level designs following adult learning principles.  

  • Design games, gamified learning, simulation-based, micro-learning, and mobile-first learning materials. 

Technology Integration:  

  • Awareness of how using Gen AI tools can help you gain efficiency.  

  • Lead the integration of innovative learning technologies to enhance learning. experiences using Rapid Authoring Tools such as Articulate Storyline, RISE, Captivate, etc. 

Evaluation and Assessment:  

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of learning solutions.  

  • Create storyboards for instructional design and interactivities.  

  • Review storyboards, Alpha, Beta, and Final versions of learning assets.  

  • Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams.  

  • Analyze client review feedback and update the storyboard accordingly. 

  • Validate the client feedback implementation in the learning assets. 

Process:  

  • Attend weekly status meetings and content discussions with the client. 

  • Attend the daily connects with the PM and team. 

  • Participate in the project discussions, RCAs, and other meetings as needed. 

  • Follow all Infopro processes throughout the development life cycle.
