Summary
Join Discovery Education's K12 sales team as an Educational Partnerships Manager to drive revenue through consultative sales and relationship building with school districts and educational stakeholders. This remote field sales role focuses on identifying customer needs and aligning Discovery Education's products to address them while managing assigned territories across the Midwest.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct consultative discussions to identify customer needs, achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets, build relationships with key school district decision-makers, manage business pipelines, and facilitate customer-facing meetings in schools and district offices. Continuously prospect for new business, research market trends and competition, devise regional campaigns, and provide accurate sales reporting and territory management activities.
Skills & Tools: Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills with demonstrated ability to work independently; CRM familiarity and territory sales experience; ability to engage effectively with educational institutions and navigate the school district buying process.
Qualifications: 2+ years of successful direct sales experience or education field experience, with teaching or education technology/publishing experience preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required; legal right to work in the United States.
Location: Remote, based in St. Louis, Kansas City, or Chicago with approximately 50% travel required including weekly local travel and occasional overnight trips.
Compensation: $65,000 – $100,000/year
