NWEA Account Executive for the South Central Region drives new business development and fosters relationships with mid-sized school districts to expand NWEA's educational assessment solutions. This field sales role requires proactive prospecting, strategic deal-making, and the ability to navigate complex K-12 education sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities: Lead new business development by prospecting, pitching, and closing deals with mid-sized school districts while building deep relationships and expanding market presence. Develop and execute sales strategies, provide data-driven consultations on NWEA's assessment solutions, manage Salesforce CRM, and navigate complex sales cycles with up to 70% travel.
Skills & Tools: Proven net-new business sales success with quota achievement, strong independent prospecting and closing abilities, and deep understanding of K-12 education sales cycles and procurement. Expertise in territory management, sales forecasting, pipeline development, complex solution presentations, and consultative selling.
Qualifications: 1-5 years of field sales experience in education technology with a strong track record in new business acquisition and a Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Must reside in Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Tennessee.
Location: Remote (Field Sales) - South Central Region; candidates must reside in KY, LA, MS, or TN, United States.
Compensation: $85,000 β $95,000/year
