Summary
Account Manager for Research Intelligence at Elsevier responsible for driving new sales and managing renewals of SaaS solutions for academic and research institutions across the Northeast US region.
Key Responsibilities: Attain bookings targets, execute account strategies, manage customer relationships, gather market feedback, and actively participate in trade shows. Ensure Salesforce accuracy, coordinate with cross-functional teams including Customer Success and Product Management to maximize customer value and renewal rates.
Skills & Tools: Consultative solution-sales expertise, complex SaaS and data analytics knowledge, strategic account planning, relationship management, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Salesforce and sales enablement tools required.
Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years of direct enterprise software sales experience with a proven track record of expanding business with customers. Experience partnering with academic and research institutions required.
Location: Hybrid in Massachusetts, United States; home-based with focus on Northeast region (MA, CT, RI, VT, NH, ME)
Compensation: $79,800 – $148,100/year
