Summary
Sr. Full Stack Engineer leading the design, development, testing, and deployment of critical applications for Sophia Learning's online education platform. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate and enhance technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop modifications to Sophia's custom application, implement solutions using Agile methodology, and troubleshoot production issues. Provide level 3 support post-implementation and participate in creating test plans and implementation strategies.
Skills & Tools: Strong proficiency in Ruby and JavaScript with front-end frameworks; experience with AWS/GCP, relational and NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, and Test Driven Development. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills required.
Qualifications: 5+ years of web application design, development, and implementation experience with Ruby, JavaScript, and responsive web design; 2+ years working with AWS/GCP infrastructure. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; AWS/GCP certifications are a plus.
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; up to 10% travel required
Compensation: $103,900 – $155,900/year
