Summary

Lead a large, high-visibility client program as a Learning Experience Architect, owning the learning strategy across multiple workstreams while managing a cross-functional instructional design team of 10–15+ members. Balance strategic vision-setting with hands-on design and development to deliver scalable, high-quality learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage cross-functional instructional design teams across concurrent workstreams, develop quality standards and SOPs, and serve as the primary stakeholder contact for translating business needs into learning strategies. Oversee design and development of learning experiences across multiple modalities, contribute hands-on to content creation, champion quality assurance, and stay current with emerging learning technologies and generative AI applications.
Skills & Tools: Demonstrated expertise in instructional design across eLearning, ILT, blended, and microlearning modalities; proficiency with tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Adobe Captivate; and strong knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills combined with strategic thinking, quality mindset, and ability to mentor and coach high-performing teams.
Qualifications: 8–12+ years of experience in learning design and development with demonstrated track record of leading large-scale client programs and managing instructional design teams. Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, organizational development, or related field preferred; relevant certifications in learning design or team leadership are advantageous.

Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is ₹18,00,000 – ₹28,00,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Learning Experience Architect to join our team, someone who brings deep craft, sharp strategic thinking, and the ability to inspire and guide high-performing teams.

This role is focused on leading a large, high-visibility client program, where you will own the learning approach across multiple workstreams and guide a cross-functional team to deliver at scale. You will serve as a key partner to client stakeholders while ensuring quality, consistency, and momentum across the program.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Lead and manage cross-functional instructional design teams of 10–15+ members across concurrent workstreams

  • Develop and maintain SOPs, quality benchmarks, and design standards that elevate team output

  • Partner with Project Managers on planning, resource allocation, and delivery timelines across multiple assignments

  • Provide structured mentoring and coaching to team members

  • Ensure alignment, consistency, and quality across all active workstreams

Stakeholder & Client Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted design lead and primary point of contact for stakeholders

  • Translate complex business and learning needs into clear design strategies and actionable plans

  • Communicate progress, risks, and solutions with clarity and confidence

  • Build strong, trust-based client relationships and operate with a high degree of ownership

Instructional Design & Delivery

  • Oversee the design and development of learning experiences across modalities including eLearning, ILT, blended, and microlearning

  • Contribute hands-on to content design and development as needed, maintaining a high bar for quality

  • Ensure solutions are instructionally sound, engaging, and aligned to measurable outcomes

Quality & Standards

  • Champion quality across all deliverables, from storyboard to final output

  • Apply WCAG Accessibility Standards to ensure inclusive learning experiences

  • Establish and uphold design review processes that maintain consistency and catch issues early

Technology & Innovation

  • Stay current with emerging learning technologies and evaluate their relevance

  • Apply generative AI tools in a structured and purposeful way within the workflow

  • Demonstrate proficiency with tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Adobe Captivate
