Role Snapshot
Principal Solution Architect - Splunk at CDW is a field-based technical pre-sales role focused on developing comprehensive security solutions and maintaining strategic customer relationships. The role drives business growth through consultative guidance and expert positioning of CISCO Splunk/ThousandEyes solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Develop assessment and service solutions including architecture, technology health checks, and advisory services; collaborate with customers, delivery teams, and sales to author statements of work and provide consultative guidance. Maintain strategic relationships, conduct minimum 8 internal seminars and 6 customer sessions annually, and mentor other solution architects on deal registration and technical enablement.
Skills & Tools: Expert knowledge in CISCO Splunk/ThousandEyes, strong problem-solving and solution design abilities, and excellent communication and leadership skills. Domain expertise in security architecture, industry challenges, and best practices with ability to work independently and drive technical initiatives.
Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include experience in channel solution sales, cyber security knowledge, relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, or Splunk certifications), and understanding of industry frameworks. Minimum requirement of three active partner technical certifications and proven track record in security solutions.
Location: United States
Compensation: $165K–$200K/yr
