Summary
Join Elsevier as a Software Engineer Intern working on HESI Compass, a product used by over 10,000 nursing students. You'll gain hands-on experience in software development through the Rising TIDE program, contributing to design, coding, testing, and release of a meaningful healthcare education tool.
Skills & Tools: Hands-on development experience in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux, CSS, or SQL; understanding of relational databases and development tools. Strong communication and teamwork skills with ability to work collaboratively in a guided environment.
Qualifications: Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related field with expected graduation by May 2027. Demonstrate technical work through portfolio, GitHub profile, code samples, or relevant academic/personal projects.
Location: Remote/home-based, open to candidates in Eastern and Central time zones (Pennsylvania-based preferred)
